    I loge the set and forget meals. I don't have a road pro but a hot logic and I loge just turning it on driving and my food is ready to go when I arrive. Also I have cooked beef ribs and beef stew from raw. Its only like 45 watts so you have to be driving for quite a few hours for that cook all the way butit can be done. Great Video! Happy Travels! 🤙🏾

    Hopefully you reported that car to the Kiosk. I'm a big believer of caring for myself as well as my neighbors. Besides making you feel uncomfortable, they are taking business away from the owners. They probably know who the guys were and can put a stop to it, verbally as well as legally. In most states there is a number, 411 in Texas, you can call to report an incident that is not an emergency, but something that should be checked out... and noted. Years ago, I was in rush hour traffic when I spotted what looked like a newish wallet on the inside lane next to the concrete barrier. I called 411. That night on the TV I learned the man's toddler threw it out the window and they had been searching for it for hours. I had not given my name, but the man and his family wanted to say thanks.

    As a product designer and 20-year user experience pro I have these issues: The instructions for both items are way too thin. I know less is more, but nothing is nothing. The biggest problems are with the cord that connects the battery to the solar panels. The plug to the panel has a small notch and the hole is black plastic. Impossible to see the notch in the hole in bright daylight. MAKE NOTCH BIGGER. The stupidest thing Jackery does is provide the solar connection cord with the double connection end linked together. The solar panel won't charge in that "as-delivered" configuration. Instruction are no help.

    Ooo, the Union Covered Bridge is super close to where my Great - Great Grandfather and his family lived in Monroe County in the 1800's! They lived there from the late 1820's-1905ish. Paris, Holliday, Madison, Moberly... I'd love to go back there again and visit the area... It's been 25 years since I got to drive through that area! Thank you for sharing this, Bunny! LOVE it!

    There is a covered bridge down a side rd in Gay Georgia, heard about it while camping at Joe Kurtz WMA. Be sure to stop at the ranger station about 1/4 mile before the camp ground. Or pay a $106 fine for not getting a permit.

    I always assumed that they built covered bridges in snow country to protect them from massive amounts of snow, especially heavy wet snow that might damage the bridge, and ice. Our last snowstorm this year in Maine was like that and the roof over my little backdoor porch was pulled slightly away from the house by the weight of the snow. I’m going to have to hire someone to fix it. Have you read anything about why they built covered bridges? I can’t believe our hard headed practical ancestors built them because they’re beautiful and charming.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere 2 дні тому

      There were a couple of reasons that were explained one being protection of the materials, the other being to reduce ice during the winter months to provide some form of shelter to get out of the elements during rain

    Bunny, thanks for sharing this information. I love covered bridges and always stopped to take pictures, but I find very few. I wish I could do covered bridges all across America, but I never think to search them out. I also wanted to do barns across America and I have done some of them, I mean old ones. What I have done the most of is churches across America. And I don’t mean just any church or big new churches. I do mostly old white churches. Someday I will filter through and take them out and make a video. You’re so good at doing this type of video. I admire your skills.
